GAIN’s internship programme, in partnership with Level20, is open to female & non-binary students across the UK, who aspire to have a career in investment management. Applications for Summer 2022 are NOW OPEN and will remain open until Sunday 24th October. A number of firms are participating to source more diverse talent for the long term. What will I gain from this internship?
This internship will give you the opportunity to learn about investment management and whether it is the career for you! Over the summer, interns will experience a challenging and rewarding program that offers insight into the investment management industry as a whole and the specific investment firm you join. You will join a cohort of other young women with access to a tailored programme ahead of the internship to help you prepare and ensure you learn as much as possible from the experience.
Who is eligible to apply?
Penultimate and final year undergraduate or Masters students currently studying at/or recently left a university in the UK. The programme is open to talented and dedicated female and non-binary students from any UK university and studying any academic discipline. UK citizens studying abroad will also be eligible to apply provided they will be in the UK at the time of the internship.
What is the selection process?
Candidates will be allocated to one of the participating firms. The firms will then select the intern or interns they would like to take through to their assessment process. Each firm will have their own assessment process, which may include interviews (virtually or in person) as well as online testing and they will be looking for smart, hard-working and intellectually curious individuals. The following skills are considered advantageous: ability to collaborate and build strong relationships, differentiated thinking and independent initiative, strong work ethic, curiosity, self-motivation, maturity, analytical and problem-solving skills.
