Level 20 is pleased to present updated diversity data for the Netherlands, which finds:
- In 2025, 18% of Netherlands-based investment professionals are women, up from 15% in 2023.
- Whilst representation of women in senior roles has remained static at 9%, good progress has been observed at mid and junior levels
- There has been a reduction in the prevalence of all-male investment teams
- Venture capital firms remain ahead of private equity firms, but the gap is closing

Level 20 is a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to increase the number of women working in senior investment roles in private equity and venture capital to at least 20%.
We do this through international research and advocacy, and Europe-wide networking and mentoring initiatives, with 7,000+ members across 13 chapters. Our work is supported by sponsorship from over 120 GPs and LPs, and also supports firms to understand the barriers women face and how to be a part of the solutions that are driving changes.
