Emma started working in the private equity industry in 1995. She joined Intermediate Capital Group in early 2016 after 11 years at Graphite Capital.
Emma started her career as a Chartered Accountant, moving into the private equity advisory group at Coopers & Lybrand at the end of her training contract. From there she moved through mezzanine investment with Royal Bank of Scotland, direct buy-out investment at Morgan Grenfell Private Equity and private equity fund investment with Merrill Lynch before joining Graphite Capital in 2004 as head of fund investments and was a senior partner of the firm. She obtained a first class degree in Economics and Politics from Bristol University.
Emma enjoys time on the South coast of England, building sandcastles with her daughter and twin sons. She also skis (badly), rides horses (occasionally) and is trying to find time to learn more than three chords on her guitar.
