David co-founded Synova, one of Europe’s top-performing private equity firms, in 2007, having previously advised a prominent European family investment office.
He has over 20 years of experience investing in and advising European high growth companies and was recognised in the prestigious Dow Jones ’40 under 40 Rising Stars in Private Equity’. He leads the Financial Services and FinTech sectors at Synova, working closely with founders and leaders to support their growth ambitions.
He currently serves as a Non Executive Director of several portfolio companies, including JMG Group, DM Financial, and 3173, where he provides strategic guidance and support. He is a founding sponsor of 10,000 Black Interns, a project that aims to improve inclusion and diversity in the financial services sector.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing and watching a variety of sports with his children, including regular visits to his native Dublin to watch the rugby.
