Emma is a Partner based in London and is co-head of Bridgepoint Europe investment activities in the UK and co-chair of Bridgepoint’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee. She has particular expertise in investing in the highly regulated financial services sector, in people businesses and in companies pursuing market consolidation strategies.
Since 2005, Emma has been a Board representative on companies including retailers Pets at Home and Hobbycraft, self-storage business Safestore, car leasing company Zenith and wealth manager Quilter Cheviot which was sold to FTSE 100 investment and savings group Old Mutual.
Emma began her career at Morgan Stanley where she focused on mergers & acquisitions and capital raisings. Having completed an MBA, she moved into the private equity industry.
Emma holds a first class degree in Chemistry from Oxford University and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School where she was a Fulbright Scholar. She is an Associate Fellow of the Saïd Business School at Oxford University and a member of the Advisory Board for the Masters of Law and Finance degree at Oxford University. In 2017, she was named by Real Deals as one of the private equity industry’s Future 40.
She has three young children and lives in South West London.
